I think that's a much better way to improve the computer's performance than overclocking the CPU I overclocked my old Phenom II X6 1090T almost a decade ago from it's stock 32 GHz (I think it was) to 49GHz but CPUZ reported unstable, so I backed down to 38 GHz with 1434v or so and had it stable playing Crysis 13CPUZ Benchmark (x64 151) Best CPU performance 64bit November 21 AMD FX 6300 (1T)
